Semtech and Lacuna Space Add IoT to Satellite connectivity to LoRaWAN 

With the collaboration, Lacuna aims to start providing commercial services to the operators within first half of 2022. The collaboration is built on the new addition to the LoRaWAN standard, Long Range Frequency Hopping Spread Spectrum (LR-FHSS). The LR-FHSS requires less space which consumes less power and enables to access affordable and simple IoT platforms. The latest addition to the LoRaWAN standard is further expected to increase capacity and higher speed uninterrupted connectivity. Lacuna’s application will enable connection through satellite technology.
