Samsung Galaxy Buds 2 Leaked Revealing Design and Color Options

With the rumored debut date for the Samsung Galaxy Buds 2 nearing, we’ve got some eye-catching image leaks for the wireless earbuds to check out – and they show off pretty much everything in terms of aesthetics and color options. These images were obtained by 91mobiles and are consistent with prior image leaks surrounding these next-generation audio earphones. The new hardware may be unveiled as soon as Monday, June 28.

As expected based on previous leaks and reports, these new wireless earbuds take most of their design cues from the Samsung Galaxy Buds Pro that we saw unveiled at the beginning of this year — they don’t look like the older bean-shaped Galaxy Buds Live. According to these leaked pictures, Samsung is planning four new color options for the Galaxy Buds 2: black, green, purple, and white, with all of them coming with a white charging cover.

Samsung hasn’t been shy about releasing a slew of wireless earbuds in recent years. These could be considered the successor to both the original Galaxy Buds and the Galaxy Buds Plus that followed. As you might think, we’re anticipating improvements in audio fidelity, and it appears that each earbud will have at least two microphones, wear detecting sensors, and pogo connectors for charging.

However, based on what we’ve heard so far about the hardware, there may be some compromises: the battery is believed to be smaller than the Galaxy Buds Plus, and active noise canceling, which is present on the Galaxy Buds Pro, may not be available. The other question is when it can anticipate the Samsung Galaxy Buds 2 to be released. On Monday, Samsung will hold a wearable event, but we’re also expecting a big Samsung hardware reveal on August 3, so stay tuned.
