fuboTV Acquires Bengaluru Based Startup Edisnai

fuboTV which is a TV streaming platform in US has acquired the Bengaluru based startup. It said that the acquisition will further enable enhancements in AI driven interactive experiences, offer personalised services, and provide stability to platform. Edisn.ai is a start-up focused on Ai enabled fan engagement and monetisation platform.

The AI powered platform recognizes sports players on the screen and delivers statistics, biography, and other details of the players. Users of the platform can buy merchandise, tickets, and connect with sponsors. fuboTV on its acquisition of Edisn.ai said that the acquisition will help power the company’s AI experiences, offer personalised services, and provide stability to the platform further said, it will help contribute to the company objective of developing interactive sports and entertainment television. With the acquisition, aims to expand its data science and engineering based organisation globally. Edisn.ai was a part of Techstars accelerator in 2019.

Edisn.ai’s computer vision technology enables data synchronization. Edisn.ai will give fuboTV the ability to expand its Artificial Intelligence enabled ad capability. Moreover, it will allow targeted contextual advertising. On the other hand fuboTV aims to leverage Edisn.ai’s tech synergies for furthering international expansion. earlier this month also acquired Molotov. Molotov is France’s live TV streaming platform.
