Artificial Intelligence Cracks the Language of Cancer and Alzheimer’s.

Powerful algorithms used by Digital Artificial Intelligence platforms Netflix, Amazon, and Facebook can predict the biological Language of cancer and neurodegenerative diseases like Alzheimer’s. Big data analysis was done by putting the relevant data produced into a computer Language model to see if Artificial Intelligence can make more advanced discoveries than humans.Academics based at St John’s College, University of Cambridge, found the machine-learning technology could decipher the ‘biological Language‘ of cancer, Alzheimer’s, and other neurodegenerative diseases.

Professor Tuomas Knowles, lead author of the paper asserted that evolving machine learning technologies into research into neurodegenerative diseases is a game-changer when we observe the grand scheme of things. Netflix’s suggestions are not based on only one aspect but whenever it prompts up a series it uses machine learning algorithms. It makes accurate guesses and knows how the human mind would contentiously work in those scenarios.

Voice assistants like Alexa and Siri can even recognize a single person in the herd and instantly talk back with you. These platforms were initially implemented to increase the human interface with the devices. Scientists from St. John’s college performed a similar task using machine learning tech to look at what happens when something goes wrong with proteins inside the body.

A professor came out and said the human body is home to thousands of proteins but the scientists don’t know about the functionality of most of them. The scientists developed a neural network-based model to learn the Language of proteins.Going into the specifics, the command given to the program was to learn the sharp shifting biomolecular condensates. It is generally the droplets of proteins found in cells.
